This time I tried not to overdo the painting. I was looking for balance between rough painting and overdone one. And again I'm trying to start feeling comfortable painting characters since it's way out of my comfort zone.;)

Gnomes vs Goblins - Heartstone contest entry WIP

This is initial sketch and value comp for my Heartstone contest entry. I chose Gnome side so I am to paint Gnome with his invention. The Idea is "Dragon taming bagpipes". Well at least bagpipes inspired instrument . What do you think?

I brought sketch from last week to life :)

Pencil and paper

So I went to Warsaw to meet some amazing fellow Artists. Traveling by train gives great opportunity to recall how to draw traditionally. I think it's still easier with sketchbook and pencil than some expensive hi-tech companions ;). Anyway here is my train-sketch. I'll make painting out of it soon.
